Dear Donors
Thank you very much for all of your support. Without your support and donation, we wont be able to run our program and change the life of many. You make this happen!! By the time you receive this report, we are able to continue our program for the street kids in Bali
We are able to do things below and many more,
- The Women’s Workshop which has space for 10 women in the future run five days a week between the hours of 9am – 5pm. The women who come are mostly the mothers of the children attending the Centre
- The women taught how to make whatever the customers request e.g. handicrafts, jewellery, etc. there are also sewing machines, which can be used.
- We have added 2 Sewing Machine and a new Class Room for Sewing Lessons for our Women Wokrshop
- The women supervised and trained by Bali Life staff.
- The workshop is not only to provide the women with a regular income but also to add additional income to the family that eventually will enable them to move out of the dump area to a healthier environment.
- For the mothers attending the Women’s Workshop, they gain many more skills, which increase their ability to continue working at the Workshop or eventually, find appropriate paid work
- It is expected that as a result of health education and free medical support the health and well – being of the beneficiaries will increase.
- By receiving donations of clothing, personal toiletry items like shampoo, toothpaste, soap etc the standard of living will improve for the beneficiaries significantly.
- We received big order the past 2 months and the buyers are really happy for this.
Testimony from Uky
Halo, I am Uky. I am origininally came from Java and have 3 children. My partner left me with three children and I have to be able to feed them all. I have help from my chuch which connect me to BaliLife and BaliLife help me with open arms. Now I have been working with BaliLife for almost 6 months. My eldest children now go to school and my other toddlers are always with me, as I can bring them to Women Workshop and the team from BaliLife also educate them everyday. I like it here because I can work, learn new skill and make money for my children. My children also surrounded by positive community. Thank You BaliLife and GlobalGiving for helping my family.

Testimony from Yasinta
Hi my name is Yasinta. I have been coming to Women Workshop since. I have two children. I am very grateful for BaliLife Women Workshop as enabled me to do more with my life and add something more in my life skills. I can now making macrame, dolls, and other handycraft. Before with BaliLife , I dont work and depend on my husband income. But that cant feed the whole family. Now we have double income and we are abel to survive and even save our money. Additional to that my children have a postive environment where I can still work and my children also got educated. Thank You BaliLife.
