Empower a First-Generation College Student

On Giving Tuesday, December 1, 2020, people all around the world are coming together with kindness and generosity to support communities and causes they care about.

Please join us in supporting high-achieving yet economically challenged girls’ education with BTF Empowerment Scholarship Programs. Especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, economically disadvantaged students are struggling to continue their education.  You can show your generosity by helping support Empowerment Scholarships that create life changing opportunities for these students.

To date, BTF has empowered more than 5,000 students through educational scholarships that are given primarily to disadvantaged girls. Providing educational opportunities is key to combating early marriage, illiteracy, school dropout, and low wages, which are common barriers faced by many Turkish girls as they try to pursue an education. Providing education will make a difference now and for generations to come, giving women greater educational and economic opportunities to strengthen their communities.
