Project Report | May 7, 2021
Enhancing Education With Tree Ceilings

By Ernesto Rodriguez | Executive Director

Covid 19 has devestated communities of color.  Our focus to install tree ceilings in Title 1 schools has been put on hold until next fall when schools will reopen for in person learning.  Administrators are overwhelmed right now with the demands of opening schools and running hybrid programs.  Schools are not fully open yet with teachers pulling double duty, teaching in person and on zoom.  Administrators have asked if we could delay ceiling installations until this summer or early next fall.  It's simply one less thing for them to worry about at this point in time.

The funds that were raised last September have been set aside to fullfill the installations of six ceilings in early childhood classrooms in East Los Angeles.  THANK YOU for your continued support during these difficult times!
