Recent Pictures of Food Ration Distributions

By Ambereen Siddiqui | Director - HOPE USA

Dear HOPE Friends,

Our Food Rations Campaign is a Donor-Initiated Idea which Has Been Going Strong for 7 Years!

In a nutshell (no pun intended), at least once a month (and more as circumstances and opportunities present themselves), HOPE USA has been making strides towards reducing food insecurity for hundreds of families in Pakistan .

For Just $33 per Month, You Can Sponsor Food Rations for a Needy Family.  Zakat-Eligible Families ‍‍‍ are Given a Month's Supply of Food Rations for 8 People Which Includes:

Rice

Wheat Flour

Lentils

Cooking Oil ‍

Sugar

Milk Powder

Tea

Biscuits/Cookies

Salt

As inflation and increased cost of living has significantly hampered quality of life for those born into poverty, it only reinforces our gratitude that one of our longtime supporters came to us with this incredible idea many years ago.  It has grown to one of our most popular campaigns, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the economic fallout that has occurred as a result.

The pictures below are from our recent distribution in a landfill area on the outskirts of Karachi known as Kachra Kundi as well as Thatta, a heavily-populated district approximately an hour from Karachi .

Our sincere thanks to this supporter for being the seed behind this movement and for the hundreds of donors who have supported our Food Rations Campaign as well as our various poverty alleviation initiatives in Pakistan.  We are truly grateful for your support and could not do this without you .

Warm Regards,

The HOPE USA Team
