Dear HOPE Friends,
And We're Off! Door-to-Door Iftar - 200 Needy People Served/Day - HOPE Launches 2025 Meal Distributions in Zia Colony, Karachi
Concurrent with the first day of Ramadan in Pakistan, the HOPE Field Team debuted our 2025 Door-to-Door Iftar campaign in Zia Colony, Karachi by distributing biryani to 200 needy people.
Our goal this month is to distribute warm meals to 200 people per day, and during the last ten days of this blessed month of Ramadan, we will be doubling our efforts to combat food insecurity by providing meals to at least 400 people daily.
In total, we aim to reach 10,000 people via Door-to-Door Iftars during 2025 Ramadan.
Zia Colony is a urban slum community within Karachi, Pakistan which has been steeped in poverty for decades. HOPE has a prominent presence in Zia Colony via the establishment of a Hospital, Formal School, Maternal and Child Health Center, and Vocational Center, all facilities providing services to the needy for free/nominal cost.
As is our tradition, in Ramadan, we accelerate our efforts to reach the underserved:
HOPE USA uses Zakat and Sadaqa to uplift disadvantaged communities in Pakistan year-round.
Many thanks to our loyal supporters for lending a hand and opening your hearts this month and all year round!
Warm regards,
The HOPE USA Team
