By Jed Christian Sayre | Project Leader
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing everyday gifts to poor families comprising food, seeds and mosquito nets. This reporting period we are happy to say that we are able to launch what we label as food always in the home initiative. This food always in the home provides vegetable seeds, seedlings and organic fertilizer to poor farming families who want to do backyard gardening. The planting of vegetables during this time of the Coronavirus pandemic is very urgent in order to prevent hunger and malnutrition as well as provide for a venue where the families can exercise themselves while not going far. For the surplus vegetables they can also use this for additional income that they are able to use in order to buy basic essentials. This first reporting period, we are able to enroll a total of 700 families to do backyard gardening. In order to follow health protocols we provided them with leaflets on gardening instructions and not conducting face to face meetings. Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed Christian Sayre
