Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your donation to our project providing everyday gifts to poor farming families. The onset of the very dry weather is starting now but there is still few rains caused by low atmospheric pressure. While this is happening we scaled-up our distribution of vegetable seeds and organic fertilizers to local farmer who showed interest in raising vegetables for food and income. We advised them to raise early-maturing vegetables such as spinach and other leafy ones in order to ensure there is still rain while the vegetables are growing. We provided a total of 75 farmers with these inputs and some have already harvested their crops. Hoping the the El Nino situation will not last long. We also focused on the tapping of gravity-fed water sources in order to conserve water. Your continuing support is highly appreciated.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed Christian Sayre
