We believe in the power of collective leadership to transform education so that every child can thrive and realize their full potential. In 11 years, we've reached +200,000 students in vulnerable communities, building bridges to opportunity and hope. Today, +260 passionate fellows are teaching and inspiring, while 877 alumni continue driving systemic change in education and social justice.
Every child is born with immense potential-but in Mexico, millions are denied the education and support they need to thrive. Socioeconomic inequality forces over 6,000 students to drop out of school each day. Nearly 34% of students struggle with basic reading and communication skills, most of them living in underserved and vulnerable communities. Without urgent action, the gap in opportunity and equity will only continue to grow.
Ensena por Mexico places committed fellows in high-need classrooms through a Leadership Program that supports students, teachers, and families. Fellows co-create transformative learning experiences that help students thrive. After their placement, alumni continue to receive support as they lead long-term efforts for social change in education and beyond.
