Dear Friends,
Greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative feeding starving girls. We are approaching this project in a creative way and that is by the provision of tools and materials for the girls and their parents to sustain their livelihoods and in so doing feed themselves not only once but on a long-term basis. This is very important compared to one-shot provision of food supply that is gone immediately. One of the ways we are doing this is by the promotion of vegetable gardening which is easy to do by the women and which is able to provide them with immediate benefit as some of the vegetables can be harvested in less than a month. This is true for the leafy ones. Our area is blessed with good soil, water and sun which are essentials for gardening to prosper. We are able to assist 125 gardeners during this reporting period. Hoping for your continuing generosity and help. Thank you very much.
