Introduction
Belonging to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community is still illegal in many countries across the world, including countries in Africa. This is a violation of human rights which cause people to face daily discrimination and violence. This project supports LGBTQ activism in Africa to achieve policy change but also to end homophobia at a community level. We are also dedicated to educating individuals on the stigmas they may face to increase safety and awareness.
Report
By providing the financial means to advocate for policy change we can ensure that each nation is complying with the human rights related to LGBTQ rights. This will provide a platform for all to have the rights to work on a local level to educate children at schools as well as have workshops to achieve behavioural change. It costs $250 for one workshop for 10 individuals.
