On September 29th, we received our first patient, Gabriela, of 11 years old. She stayed with her mother, Zulema and her two elder siblings, Boris and Evelin, who paused tjeir studies at Iquique, located in the North side of Chile, to come to Santiago, and accompany their little sister.
Gabriela and her family went on several small trips. They went to the movies, to the San Cristóbal hill´s cable car and to the beach, where she even swam in the sea.
She loved our hydrotherapy room and took family baths. This was her favorite part of the house.
Unfortunetly, Gabriela passed away, but the mont she and her family stayed at our hospive, were very pleased and relieved of having the chance of living this hard process together.
