Though we in Cambodia had been relatively lucky in the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, this second year has been completely different with the emergence of the Delta Variant's arrival in Cambodia. We have been locked down, and we have been locked out from having access to any of our boats after our port of call -- Kompong Khleang -- was declared a "red zone".
We have done what we have always done. We made adjustments. We adapted. Whether it is the now unpredictable water depths in the Tonle Sap Lake, or the tempermental nature of a boat's engine, we have always found a way to continue working to provide free health care, health education and healthy family development despite the difficulties.
