In the heart of Sindh, where stories bloom and children’s laughter echoes through dusty schoolyards, Hamara Kutab Khana has continued to serve as a sanctuary of imagination, learning, and community. From Kalti Village to Asif Colong, our mobile library initiative has reached 8 vibrant communities, nurturing over 2,600 children through books, art, storytelling, and creative classroom practices.

Library & Learning Highlights
1. Literacy in Action – Weekly Library Sessions
From FAS Shaikh Muhallah to NEWFAS Tando Thatti, weekly library sessions inspired curiosity and joy. January welcomed “Dettol Day” and community meetings, while February centered on storytelling with themes like Kindness, Bravery, and Belonging.

2. Classroom Creativity – Learning Through Play
Themes such as Earth Orbit and About My Day were brought alive through art, storytelling, and sensory exploration. Playdough donuts and “magic box” activities strengthened cognitive and motor skills across ECCE and primary grades.

3. Celebrations & Community Joy
February and March saw community-led Eid Milan celebrations and cricket matches that not only bonded students but also encouraged parents to participate in their children’s learning journey.

Teacher Development: Building Capacity
With a focus on sustainable impact, our one-day teacher training on the “4AS Lesson Planning Model” equipped educators with tools for engaging lessons. The training encouraged integration of literacy, creativity, and well-being.
