Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your support to our project food production in the home of local farmers. By far this is one of the best solution to hunger and malnutrition because farmers are able to utilize their own resources in order to grow food in their backyard and using available resources such as organic fertilizer they can produce, use of indigenous vegetable varieties, use of containers like sacks and cans to grow food, among other ways. We guide them and provide them with small farming inputs so that they are able to start their home food production activities. This reporting period we are able to train 120 young farmers the best way to launch their food production activities. We are also developing a seed production farm where farmers can get seeds and seedlinggs that they can use in their farming. The availability of planting materials greatly hamper the food production initiatives in the villages and this needs to be responded to. Again thank you very much for your help.

Very sincerely yours,

Cesario Sayre
