Greetings From ABCS and RICE!
We would like to thank you for your kind donations! We are happy to announce that after having been closed for 20 months, our school has now been given permission to reopen!
Because of this pandemic our students attended school at ABCS and RICE for the first four months of 2020. Months later we provided online learning but very few of our students had access to the internet. Our school reopened in early 2021 for only two months.
Despite best efforts our students have fallen behind academically as has their grasp of English. We are therefore undergoing a change in our programming to meet this challenge. We are revising our academic programs as well as revamping the breakfast and lunch club programs. We have a skeleton crew and no volunteers in sight!
Because of you, we continue to offer food to the students and 250 families at ABCS and RICE each week.
We cannot thank you enough for your kindness! On behalf of our students and their families we would like to wish you Happy Holidays!
