Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our project food security for poor women. Food is becoming scarce especially in upland barrios due to soil infertility and changing climate wherein the growing of crops is not predictable anymore, unlike several years ago. This time we found out that women farmers struggle to find good planting materials for their farms and we initiated effort in order to provide them with healthy planting materials. This comprise seeds, suckers, roots and stems that farmers can grow. Without good quality materials, production suffers and this leads to further marginalization and malnutrition. We were able to provide 10 farmers with a variety of good planting materials and we hope to increase our support in the coming months. Again thank you very much.
