Ramadan is over and the festivities are in full swing. For the 89 girls in the Girls' Advancement program, this also means that they will now return to their normal life schedules and thus be more able to focus on learning. We have been thrilled with the 98% attendance rate for the young ladies in the program so far this school year. Itis a testament to the importance of parental and community support in their education. Heading into this school year, we sat with the parents of each girl and made a joint commitment for both the parents and Remember Niger to make sure the girls were empowered to GO to school regularly. We are thankful for the commitment of the families!
