Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your donation to our project producing wine from excess fruits and other agricultural produce from the villages. This is a perennial problem of farmers, that of disposing of their production during peak season when the market is down and prices is very low it does not earn to sell the produce. We devised a means of making the excess into wine and vinegar which has higher value and can be stored for a long time. Aging is a good strategy since the taste becomes nicer when the wine or vinegar is aged. This reporting period we provided technical support to 30 women farmers on how to increase their production as the rain is starting after the drought that lasted more than 5 months.
