Dear friends,
March and April were exciting months as the projects closed at the end of the financial year in March, and April saw us completing another year of service to the animals of the city. The highlights were the remarkable transformation tales where each one of you played a significant role in rewriting the lives of many rescue pets. Our spay/neuter and vaccination drives continued relentlessly as we positively impacted more than 80000 animals over the past 19 years.
Whitey, a gentle soul full of innocence was found broken by the world she trusted. Suffering from a brutal head trauma, she also endured an eye injury and a deadly pyometra. However, we did not let her down and she showed us all what a great fighter she truly is. Though her partial blindness and nervous incoordination mean that she can't return to the streets, she has found her forever home with us at the sanctuary and all she needs is a virtual sponsor. For as little as USD 50, the complete cost of her treatment and care for a whole month would be covered. Would you be the one to sponsor her even partially?
Fluffy is a tiny pup that was hit by a vehcile suffering multiple fractures in one of her hind limbs and also hip. Sadly, her leg couldn't be saved and she underwent amputation. None of this dampened her spirits though. Thanks to your support, we were able to give her the care she needed. She is now resting, healing, and finding her strength again!
These past two months, we had a flurry of volunteering activities and we are ever grateful for the wonderful folks who dedicated their time to the pooches—groomed them, took them for long walks, and showered them with treats. A huge big thanks from all of us for your selfless service and compassion towards the voiceless.
Our residents were also super-thrilled as many of you stepped forward to celebrate your special days with them and sponsor their meals. Whether it's your birthday, anniversary, or a special day of your special someone, we would be happy to have you host a small party for our rescues. For as little as USD 50, you can sponsor a day's meal for all 300 residents of both the rescue centre and the sanctuary. We can assure you that it would be an occasion you will always remember and cherish!
Thank you!
