We are so passionate about the work we do!
Every day, vulnerable needy families attend at our centre and every day we work to help them feel "safe in and worthy of" our love!
When brokenness is your lived experience for so long that it becomes your expectation, then the tiniest glimmer of hope and softness has a huge impact. Our lovely families are finding comfort and connection in our community and arrive willing and enthusiastic to add their contribution to the functioning of the Village.
We are blessed to watch the stronger bonds firming and the smiles begin reaching their eyes.
Over the last 2 weeks we journeyed with a grandmother, recently made the primary guardian of her grandson. His mother is deceased and his father is mentally unwell. The granny works only 3 days a week as a house helper and is unable to earn enough to meet their needs.
We have been able to help them with food, get her grandson into a nearby school and give them the support of a community that cares.
We couldn't do it without you!
