Chains Can Take Many Forms, and Together We Break Them All...

Storm-His Freedom Ride!
Storm-His Freedom Ride!

Dear Friends of Guardians of Rescue,

As we've described before, our "Getting Dogs Off Chains" program has several components to help dogs, cats and other animals in need. Along with our rescue and adoption partners, we bring out fresh food, treats, fresh water, dog houses and raised beds to better the lives of some of the dogs living outside. For some dogs, tethered in place, we build kennels equipped with insulated doghouses to free them from their literal chains.

Bringing out food to the community center to hand out to people to give nutritious meals to their pets makes the dogs, cats, their human guardians and US happy! We hope you feel that satisfaction, too, as you are an indispensible part of this mission of mercy. It's you and our other supporters who fill the empty bowls and get deserving dogs into better environments which in turn make their lives so much better.

We'd like to share a number of photos of the people, places, dogs and cats we have recently visited and helped with your help—they are all happier as a result  of your generosity.

With your help, we serve so many dogs and cats in need, but some stick out especially....like Storm

Storm

One lucky dog this time around was Storm.  Storm was  living in a rat-infested pen, with no hope in sight. The days and weeks must have dragged on so slowly and drearily for this neglected soul.

Thanks to our Outreach program with our partners, made possible by the generosity of our donors, Storm must have been excited to find himself on his Freedom Ride to a new life where he'll be loved and pampered, instead of neglected and forgotten..

Storm realizing he'd been rescued was a sight to see. You could feel his relief. His rescue photo shows he already had a brand-new outlook on life.

You can see from the photos and stories we send you every few months that this mission is never-ending. It would never have begun without you, and can't continue without the ongoing support of our loyal friends. Thank you!

Working together, we can free even more dogs, cats and other animals from chains of metal, neglect, hunger and loneliness.

That's why we always say,

Together we save them,

Guardians of Rescue
