The teenage mothers we enrolled back to school have started school already as indicated in our previous report. We have been monitoring them and they have been regular in school since they have been enrolled. They have each been assigned mentors who speak to them at least once in a month to check how they are doing and continue to guide and motivate them as they pursue their dreams. Mid this year, we plan on giving them more educational materials such as text books and exercise books among others to enable them stay in school.
The teenage mothers who have received training in soap making and have started their small size businesses are doing well in business. Though they have a number of business challenges including access to market, they are still in business doing their best to keep their businesses alive. To further support them grow their businesses, we plan on giving them entrepreneurship training to equip them knowledge and skills to sustain their businesses.
