Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative providing goats for women in order to improve their nutrition and income. We are happy to note that support to this project is on-going and our leaders concerned with agriculture is keen on multiplying this. They see the benefit of raising goats because the animals are easy to raise and do not require much food only grasses in order to grow and multiply. Goat meat also is a delicacy and sought-after in local restaurants and during festivities. This reporting period we promoted to farmers the growing of local grasses that have high nutritional value as feed for the goats. Seeds of these grasses are difficult to procure and we used your support in order to purchase them for distribution. We were able to reach-out to 32 farmers in this way.
