By Michelle Frances Uy | Project Leader
Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our project providing goat for women's nutrition and income. Goats are easy to raise and the usual practice here are either cut and carry of fodder or let the goats roam around the farm in order to forage for their nourishment. The El Nino weather phenomenon is sure to happen and the hot weather is starting now. While there is still rain, we encourage families raising goats to grow food for the goats and in this case we distribute fodder seeds to them and encourage them to plant the crops in preparation for the onset of the dry situation. We provided 72 families with fodder seeds and we will monitor as they plant this. There is indeed a need to prepare for the nutrition of the goats and we hope to be successful in this manner. Again thank you very much for your support.
Very sincerely yours,
Michelle Frances Uy
