Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your donation to our project providing goats to farmers in order to improve nutrition of women and all members of the family. This project is very important because goats are easy to raise and they produce milk and meat. One of the problems encountered by goat raisers is the dwindling quality of their stocks due to inbreeding and the lack of suitable upgraded male breeds. We could not find any available breed and the native varieties are small and do not produce milk. Sale of the native goats is low as it could not command good price in the market. There is indeed a way to improve the stocks and during this reporting period we are requesting the local department of agriculture for good upgraded stocks in which to improve our bloodline. We will update you about this in our next report. Again thank you very much.
