In January, the team kicked off the year with a full strategy week. It was an important moment to share opinions and ideas, to align and prepare for the months ahead. We refined our programs, tackled challenging budget and activity questions, and strengthened our well-being through team-building sessions.Habibi.Works operates in a highly challenging environment for everyone’s mental health, including the team. That’s why opportunities to connect, to create clarity, and to experience a sense of mutual support are so important, also within the team.

Some numbers from 2025 so far
The most visited working area has been the sewing atelier with 268 appointment

over 3500 plates have been served
Ramadan Brings a Calmer March
The fasting month of Ramadan is celebrated by many people in the Katsikas camp. As a result, things are a bit slower at Habibi.Works. We use this opportunity to register new participants and strengthen relationships within the community in the attempt to make everyone feel seen and appreciated.
Moreover, the team is well occupied organising the Eid party at the beggining of next week. We expect great food, music and dance!
Ever wondered where Habibi.Works is located?
The red dot indicates the premises of our space outside Katsikas in north-western Greece. By the way, the light area on the left of this screen shot; that’s the refugee camp of Katsikas. Since 2022, the camp has been enclosed by a 3-meter-high concrete wall - one more reason to keep Habibi.Works going!
Thanks for staying with us and making Habibi.Works possible in this new year, too!
Best wishes,
Mimi and the Habibi.Works-Team
