In December, women from our partner, Wangki Tangni, prepared bags of seeds to distribute to women farmers throughout a remote community on Nicaragua’s North Atlantic Coast called Waspam. They also held a workshop where women farmers could share their experiences and learn planting techniques.
When we create a space where women farmers can gather and share their challenges and successes, we help improve harvests and foster a sense of community. Thank you for making this possible!
In the first two photos, you can see our partners from Wangki Tangni packaging the seeds to be delivered. And in the third photo, you can see the workshop for local women farmers.
