Your previous donations secured the treatment of dozens of cases of dwarfism and poor growth in northern Syria by providing children with growth hormone injections. You have changed the lives of many for the better.
Stunting in northern Syria is more than just a problem. It is the other side of the human tragedy as a result of malnutrition, loss of access to appropriate care, war, displacement, and the poor psychological state of mothers and newborns.
Many children in the camps and the displaced suffer from bullying and isolation, and unfortunately most of these cases are not addressed due to the extreme poverty they suffer from. Treating poor growth is a “luxury” for the camp residents.
