Thanks to your generosity, Global Water Challenge (GWC) and women for water are able to support DigDeep’s Navajo Water Project. Together, we are installing Home Water Systems for families in the Navajo Nation who previously lacked the sinks, bathtubs or toilets that the rest of us often take for granted.
By providing sustainable water to these communities, this high-impact partnership is transforming the lives of so many, like Grace, who has never had running water in her home. Before receiving her Home Water System, Grace had to haul water from a community 35 miles away.
Grace is excited to be able to use the money she’s saving with running water towards her livestock and farm. The first thing she plans to do with her new running water is wash dishes, take a shower, do laundry, and cook. Access to running water has allowed Grace to spend more time enjoying her daily life!
GWC and DigDeep are happy to share Grace’s gratitude with you. She thanks you with all her heart and invites you all to future holiday dinners she plans to have.
