Thanks to your generosity, Global Water Challenge (GWC) and women for water are able to support DigDeep’s Navajo Water Project. Together, we are installing Home Water Systems for families in the Navajo Nation who previously lacked sinks, bathtubs or toilets that are often taken for granted.
By providing sustainable water to these communities, this high-impact partnership is transforming the lives of so many, like Helen, who has never had running water. Before receiving her Home Water System, the only way Helen had water to wash dishes, do laundry, and bathe was by hauling it from family members’ homes.
Helen now has running water and couldn’t be more excited! The first thing she did was take a nice shower and clean her home. She is also able to spend more time with her family now that she does not have to haul water.
GWC and DigDeep are happy to share Helen’s gratitude with you. Helen wants you to know that she is deeply thankful for your donation and hope you continue to help others.
Thanks to your continued support, we will be able to provide more Navajo families with clean water access for years to come!
