Hey everyone!
In this second report of the year, we've got some exciting updates to share with you from the past few months:
Successful Backup On Tour Workshop in Gulu
We recently held a fantastic Backup On Tour workshop in Gulu, focusing on differentiation in teaching and practical learning activities for children with learning difficulties and disabilities. The training content was incredibly useful for professionals who work directly with these children, and we’ve received great feedback on its impact!
New Partner Schools in Kitgum District
We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve added 2 new partner schools in Kitgum District. This expansion allows us to reach even more children and provide the support they need to thrive in their education.
Community Meetings in Gulu City
Every Sunday, after a savings group meeting, we’ve been hosting community meetings in Gulu City. Parents and caregivers have been learning more about learning difficulties and disabilities, and it’s been wonderful to see the community coming together to support each other.
Fundraising Success
A huge thank you to everyone who supported us during the April Little by Little campaign and our BBQ fundraiser in Gulu. We raised an amazing $748 towards our office glow-up and $420 during the BBQ fundraiser. Your generosity is truly making a difference!
