Your help is working!

By Anna Janczyk | Fundraiser

We have been supporting refugees from Ukraine for almost 3 months. The good energy comes from a lot of people (including our GlobalGiving donors!) and we can say "Everyone is on board".

The walls of our Foundation have grown to include another Freeshop room (In April, refugees used the Freeshop 1412 times). A significant part of our tasks was transferred to the Refugee Aid Center (CPU).

What have we done?

  • with our volunteers, we initiated The Butterflies Project - artistic and educational workshops for children from Poland and Ukraine.
  • On April 23, we created a wonderful choir as part of "Rock for Ukraine". Volunteers from Ukraine prepared about 700 delicious dumplings for the event!
  • We organized another two shipments of gifts to Ukraine, this time to Odessa and Lviv,
  • We brought more people from the Ukrainian-Polish border,
  • Our volunteer organized dance workshops for children.
  • Our Polish language course covers 4 groups.
  • We coordinate counseling for both Ukrainians and Poles.
  • We help with translation when needed.
  • We have created a notice board with job and apartment offers,
  • We have completed "Delivery bags", which were sent to the hospital in Bielsko-Biaa and to the CPU
  • We helped to prepare next flats for refugees in Miedzybrodzie

We continue to help at:

  • assistance in formal matters,
  • food bank every Monday and Friday,
  • registering children in kindergartens and schools
  • and much, much more <3

Thank you for your help!
