To our GlobalGiving family,
What a whirlwind the last three months have been. The contractors broke ground on December 27, and next week they will be installing the roof! They are significantly ahead of schedule at this point. The official completion date is May 26 but we think the Fundación staff will already be in their offices by then.
As you will recall, an important component of the project is the supervisory team which is made up of Fundación graduates. They have made a big difference in ensuring the work goes smoothly and efficiently.

The new offices are arriving just in time. The demand for university education is rising at a rapid pace and the Fundación needs to keep growing to serve this need. This year we have 47 students with scholarships, a record, and we are fairly certain that we will be adding 3 or 4 more in the next couple of weeks.
Education is the foundation for a sustainable society. Thank you for believing in the work of the Fundación. Your donation helps us to educate San Juan’s youth in the confidence this will mean a brighter future for Nicaragua.
