Thank you for your support for the DADS ARE NOT DEADBEATS- THEY'RE DEAD BROKE CAMPAIGN.
We have just finalized our trailer and sent it off to the animator. Our Animator lives in Nigeria and was found on Fiverr.com. We are excited to work with him on this project. Our goal is to have our complete trailer animated and ready to debut on 2/1/2021. Once we release the trailer we will also be in a position to sell tickets to the live debut on Fathers Day (June 20, 2021).
Our podcast will promote and feature this work for the next six months. We are currently working with a public relations firm that will ensure we get this message and work out to as many people as possible. The 6-month long promotion campaign is created to stir up conversation, community, and cut through the conflict that exists in African American families.
We can hardly wait for this exciting work to hit the market. We understand that patience is a virtue and great things take time.
Here is some other great news that we believe will raise major attention to this work!
Can I Live (CIL) was recently filmed an interview for an upcoming documentary called Race to Equality. Our wonderful work was featured in this national shift changer along with other popular voices. We believe this will soon raise the footprint of CIL and increase awareness for our platform.
We also realize that we are new to the GlobalGiving platform and these efforts require consistent donor cultivation. This is a priority for the CIL central office.
We believe that we will see huge increases over the next few months in hopes to actualize our mission and vision.
Thank you for supporting our work. We are a very unique organization offering unique services that really focus on where the holes are in our current community and economic development system.
Please consider making your donations monthly. We are good soil to sow good seeds and reap a great outcome!
Thank you! We are very fortunate for your support!
Be Safe and Healthy in 2021!
