The animal outreach team are extremely gratefull for all our donors that help us in supporting animal welfare in rural areas.
The number of dog owner registering to have their dogs sterilized have increased and we are excited to get the number of unwanted and stray puppies to decrease. Martin is doing a great job his taking about six to eight dogs every week to the local vetenarian for sterilization. We are feeling very positive that this program is making a huge difference in the community
It seems like Martin and his team are slowly winnig the battle against mange in the rural area. Luckly they often catch it in time and the animals can be treated with cortizone ointment and tablets to help prevent this from spreading to other animals. Attached are some photo's of a local dog called Nappy. He had severe mange and you can see in the next photo how happy and healthy he is after treatment.
We can see a change in the community that animal welfare has also become their priority. Together we can make a difference.
The love for all living creatures is the most noble attribute of man.
