Help US Send 220 Children To School in Haiti

Dear supporters and friends,

As many of you know there is a crisis in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince, the capitol of Haiti. We have met as an organization and decided how we can best help as a small organization for now.

Tutoring Support
Due to the disruptions in school attendance caused by instability, we plan to intensify tutoring support for students. This includes additional tutoring sessions during the summer and extending support into the fall semester.

Entrepreneurship Training for Parents and Students
Recognizing the challenges faced by parents, many of whom are street merchants, we are providing entrepreneurship training and assistance with accessing financing. This support not only helps parents improve their livelihoods but also contributes to the overall well-being of their families.

Community Engagement
We are actively engaging with the community to identify additional ways to support students during this challenging time. This includes collaborating with local organizations, conducting community meetings, and soliciting feedback from parents and community members.

Impact and Outcomes
Through these initiatives, we aim to achieve the following outcomes:

1. Increased school attendance and academic performance among students.
2. Improved economic opportunities and financial stability for parents and families.
3. Strengthened community partnerships and engagement in education initiatives.
