Following public health guidelines and guidance from the NYC Department for the Aging, we have re-opened our centers at limited capacity (currently 25%). Our seniors have been isolated more than ever before during this pandemic, and it is wonderful to be able to provide these services in-person after a long wait. These services entail yoga, health lectures, recreational programs, Grab & Go meals, and case management services, among others. Plus, our sessions are streamed live so that those at home who are able to join virtually can be engaged as well!
At our South Asian Community Home (Jamaica Estates) location we have commenced programs from 10am-2pm every Friday (see flyer attached). We provide case management on an appointment basis at our office location as well.
Your donations have helped us through this tumultous year to continue providing services, and is helping our community come back. Thank you for all your support!!!
