A little boy of only 4 years joined the program for Free Therapeutic Riding for Children with Disabilities. He suffers from Cerebral Palsy which doesn’t allow him to walk properly. His bright mind and spirit are an inspiration to all of us. He already started to get to know the horses in our farm and will be benefiting from the first lessons. Let’s all welcome I. and his family!
At the same time we have not forgotten about growing and being active in working for the young people who experience challenges. We co-authored new tools within the project Youth Going Back to Nature – Engage, Connect, Empower. A Toolkit and a documentary ‘’Young Women Going Back to Nature’’ are now available for free download on our website. More open resources and interesting information can be found on the platform that is being developed – www.outdoorportal.eu .
To advance communication with people with intellectual disabilities we became part of a project dedicated to the development of alternative augmentative communication (RURAAC). Now anyone can apply it thanks to the free The Booklet - Training modules on Alternative Augmentative Communication for natural heritage, ready to dowload here.
Thank you for being with us for another year of making a difference!
