By Tammy | THE RUWAI TEAM VISITS HOUSE CONSTRUCTION SITE
Dear Partner,
The Rural Watch Africa Initiative - RUWAI team led by Executive Director Uche Isieke recently made an unscheduled visit to the fire survivors- the Uzor family to let them know the organization's arrangement to finish a house construction it started in 2019.
The organization began another phase of the campaign to raise funds to help the survivors have a roof over their heads. The RUWAI humanitarian ambassador Jeff, his friend Micah and other volunteers, were strategic with their immeasurable commitment to help the organization accomplish its objective.
The visit to the family was accompanied by the building contractor, volunteers, and other staff members.
Earlier on the 31st of December, 2021, RUWAI visited the Uzors with some food, material, and cash gifts to help them celebrate Christmas.
Mr. Uzor.will soon receive an agro-processing machine to help him earn income to meet his family's basic needs. When installed, the palm kernel cracking machine will provide services for over 2000 people in the community and increase many households' productivity in the area while reducing the stress many women in the community go through in processing their produce.
Thank you for your continued donations and moral support.
We hope that more support will help us accomplish better in helping marginalized households in Nigeria to become self-reliant by empowering them to acquire income-generating skills and overcome poverty.
