Build Schools in Indonesia from Recycled Plastic

In 2016, PAUD Sumber Kasih began its journey in Sumba Barat Daya, Nusa Tenggara Timur, without a proper building. The school initially used the terrace of a teacher's house, an inadequate and uncomfortable space that barely served the needs of the young learners.

With 30 students and 2 dedicated teachers, PAUD Sumber Kasih faced significant challenges due to the lack of a proper building. The learning environment was far from ideal, limiting the children's ability to engage fully in their education.

Thanks to the generous support of the community and donors, PAUD Sumber Kasih has been transformed. The school now has:

- 2 newly built classrooms
- A dedicated toilet facility
- Proper furniture for the students and teachers
- Outdoor toys and educational materials

To ensure the sustainability and success of PAUD Sumber Kasih, a 3-year program has been implemented, That includes Waste Management Training, School Management Training, and monitoring of the school.

This program is not just about providing a building; it's about creating a sustainable and thriving educational environment. Over the next three years, the community will see increased student enrollment, improved educational outcomes, and a stronger sense of ownership and responsibility for the school and the environment.

The transformation of PAUD Sumber Kasih and the implementation of the 3-year program have set the stage for long-term success.
