Fighting Gangs Recruiting Children in Africa

We are deeply grateful for your generous support of our Ignite: Keeping Children Out of Gangs in Africa project. Thanks to your contributions, we’ve been able to make significant strides in our mission to protect and engage vulnerable children in the community.

Here’s an update on how your donations are making a real difference:

1. Food for the Children: Your donations have provided much-needed food for the children in our program. Keeping them well-fed ensures they remain engaged and able to attend our sessions regularly, helping to keep them out of the reach of gangs.

2. Football Equipment & Team Development: We’ve been able to purchase football equipment and start a small 5-a-side football team for the boys. This new initiative offers them not just a chance to play, but a sense of teamwork, discipline, and a healthy alternative to street life.

3. Parental Support: In addition to working directly with the children, we’re engaging with their parents to provide support and assistance in securing employment. This will help families afford food and other essentials in the long-term, ensuring lasting stability for the children.

Together, we are creating a safer, more hopeful environment for these young people, giving them the tools and support they need to build a brighter future.
