Dear Supporters,
Guided by the UNSDG #4, Quality Education, by increasing the number of scholarships available for young indigenous people in Australia and UN SDG #5 by increasing the number of female students who have access to education through scholarships. With our partners we aim to give opportunities to access training programs and to access the educational system to enhance their skills to become an ambassador for change within Australia.
Preparing for the upcoming year we are able to provide the following scholarships and internships with our partners:
-One person will receive a $3000 scholarship and a month internship with Sa Sa Art Projects
-Two people will receive a scholarship for $3000 and a month internship with Habitat for Humanity
-Three people will receive a scholarship for $1000 and a two week short course Street Life Studies
The support from the GVI Trust has contributed to education and life skills workshops amongst the indigenous community and we’d like to thank everyone for their contributions and commitment to the Program in Australia. We look forward to working together to continue to provide these opportunities in Australia in the next quarter.
With gratitude,
Australia Scholarships
