To our supporters,
Our initiative focuses on empowering Indigenous youth in Australia by addressing the challenges that often lead to educational disengagement and involvement with the criminal justice system. By enhancing their skills through culturally relevant methods, we aim to cultivate ambassadors for change within their communities and the broader Australian society.
Indigenous Australians face significant disparities in various life outcomes. Notably, First Nations children constitute approximately 60% of the youth prison population, despite comprising a much smaller percentage of the overall youth demographic.Additionally, life expectancy for Indigenous individuals is notably lower compared to non-Indigenous Australians. These disparities are further exacerbated by limited access to quality education, cultural misunderstandings within educational institutions, and socioeconomic disadvantages.
We invite you to join us in this vital mission. Your support can make a profound difference in the lives of Indigenous youths, fostering a brighter and more equitable future for all.
Thank you!
