At 6:2 pm on September 28, 2018, Sulawesi suffered a magnitude 7.5 earthquake, followed by a large-scale tsunami in Palu City and Donggala in Central Sulawesi. More than a thousand died or got injured...
On November 3, 2018, on behalf of the Mustard Seed Mission, I visited Palu to see the post-disaster recovery. Once I arrived, I saw the debris had not been cleared, and the house was razed by the tsunami. It was as desolate as a ghost town...
Every visit to a soil liquefaction area, we needed to wear a mask because when we walked on the mud-covered house, we could smell the corpse smell... (to be continued)
----
It has been half a year since the earthquake hit Indonesia, how do the living people who have survived face the smashing of the land and rebuild their homes?
The Mustard Seed Mission set a complete reconstruction plan, in the survival of
self-rescue - disaster relief education and training,
livelihood self-sufficiency - farmer/fishermen livelihood restoration plan,
life self-reliance - community children/family counseling care, help Indonesian victims to restore their homes!
Your donation can support the Indonesian affected families to be self-reliant and rebuild their homes!
