Dear Supporters,
After a very generous donation at the end of last year this project really got the kick off it deserved. Since the start of the year we have been able to recruit, reward and track 9 scholars from Africa, Asia and Latin America.
This really is a life changing experience for these people and to go overseas to learn and educate themselves in global issues is not only a dream come true but helps us build strong and educated community leaders for when they return home.
Following the 9 scholars over the past 6 months we have already seen success as they return home with 3 out of the 9 taking a leadership role in the projects back home and the other 6 joining the projects to share their experience with the wider community. Watching them implement new ideas to tackle the issue and educating others about issues other countries face is incredible and shows how your donations can really help a community tackle their own issues together and sustainably.
We hope to continue fundraising for this project so we don't run out of funds and can really share these experiences with many others from challenging communities.
