Happy New Year! We hope 2013 has started well for you. Here at the Global Vision International Charitable Trust we are looking forward to an exciting year!
As we mentioned in our previous report, we have been working towards teaming up with an UK charity on this project to give us greater access to funds from the government, corporations, fundraising bodies, fundraisers and donors. We hope to have this finalised shortly, announce the partnership and use it to award the scholarships that we can presently fund. Our program is based upon offering opportunities to youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, to allow them not only to grow as individuals through life experience, work experience and training, but equip them with the confidence to work towards improving the situations of others within their own communities and in other communities.
Great success for the GVI CT in 2012 and some great recognition of our work has been very helpful in forming partnerships. This momentum will allow us to move this project forward further in 2013. Any assistance or help you can offer in fundraising is desperately needed and welcome! For more information, please see www.gvi.org
Thank you all for your fundraising efforts and donations and we look forward to reporting continued success in the coming months.
