Dear Supporter,
Thank you for continuing to support this project. We are delighted to see we have finally reached over the $20,000 mark.
We are again looking at various ways to open this project to candidates. Our National Scholarship project has had numerous successes around the world by partnering with youth organisations, universities, training providers etc but have are still searching for the best partnership with similar US-based organisations. If you know or are aware of a network that may work for this project, we would love to hear from you at info@gvi.org. The objective is to be able to allow select under-privileged young adults from the UK, who have already shown initiative within their own communities, further opportunities to help increase their awareness regarding global and local issues, facilitate an opportunity for them to help make direct impact on those issues and empower them to continue making impact once their scholarship is finished, either within their own communities or through developing a career in their chosen field.
Thank you for supporting this project and we hope to bring you news of scholars very shortly!
All the best
Sophie Birkett
