Greetings from Dels Foundation.
We will like to especially wish you a happy and fabolous New Year.
For the past three month's beneficiaries of our teen invest program who benefitted from our online mentoring and counselling as a result of the impact of covid 19, which led us to restructure our programing finally had training in making beaded tissue boxes.
Teen moms in Ghana mostly dropout of school and some end up on the streets. The plight of the teenage mother and that of her child is troubling, especially during this era of covid 19.It is sad to note that teenage pregnancy has increased tremendously in Ghana due to the impact of covid 19
Notwithstanding the difficulty of this pandemic and its uncertainty,we express our profound gratitude to you our donors for your constant support: you stood in the gap for them. Your selfless donations made a difference. From our last report: we counselled 20 of them online and via phone, on their sexual reproductive health and rights. We gave 5 of the girls the opportunity to learn and make 500 pieces material face masks.We are happy to announce that 10 of the girls successfully underwent training in the making of beaded tissue boxes.They were very excited for the opportunity.
