To mark the end of the April school holiday activities, Project Elimu was delighted to host the Elevate Show—a special event of contemporary ballet.This event brought together our dancers, parents, community, and partners for an afternoon filled with dance, connection, and celebration.
Held on April 26th at our center, the day included a warm lunch, a presentation highlighting our journey, a tour of the neighborhood, and a beautiful contemporary ballet performance by our young dancers.The show was a powerful reflection of how the arts is transforming the lives of children in Kibera and also a celebration of the three weeks we spent together.
Our students confidently shared their talents with grace and energy, reminding us of the importance of providing them with a space to grow, express themselves, and shine.Thank you for making all of this possible through your ongoing support.
As we look ahead, we’re excited to keep building safe, creative spaces where children in Kibera can thrive—during the holidays and every day.
