In 2024 Fundación León, with the active participation of the community, we set up a new project to support the strengthening of early childhood in 30 families in Los Vásquez. This consists of workshops for families with children from 0 to 6 years of age, who also receive a kit with educational materials and a nutritional component.
The workshops cover different areas of children's functions. The first workshop focused on explaining to mothers and fathers the importance of early stimulation. This is based on the fact that, in the first stage of life, the human brain works like a sponge, and acquires more knowledge more quickly. The following workshops delved into other key early childhood topics such as nutrition.
Families learned the importance of participating in this type of space, to stimulate with toys, books, love and creativity.
